Recent Large Animal Meeting:

At a recent meeting held in Dromatarriffe Parish Hall a presentation was given by Doreen Corridan V.S. from Munster A.I. and Dairygold on Heifer rearing and fertility. Doreen is always a very popular speaker and she did not disappoint on the night.  An informative talk was also given by John Gilmore V.S. on BVD.  He made some very relevant points on the importance of biosecurity re: BVD and the need for continued vaccination.  A lively discussion ensued afterwards over a cup of tea and some cakes.
